We all know the story of Easter morning, and the story of Good Friday, but what about the time in between? What do you do when everything you believed seems shattered? The Day Between focuses on the experience of the disciples on the day after the Crucifixion and before the Resurrection, and allows us to sit with our own questions and doubts as we wait for Jesus to meet us in them. The seven characters are played by a group of four actors, providing a textured and engaging experience for the audience. Running at about 25 minutes, the show makes a meaningful addition to the Lenten season, either as a stand-alone event or within a church service. Still Small can provide a time of quiet music for reflection and prayer after the show at no additional cost. All performances are followed by a talkback in which audience members are invited to stay and discuss the show with the cast.
